Transactions with customers

※ Comply with the health and fair trading order.

  1. All transactions must be conducted by mutually respecting each other and fairly with equal status.
  2. Do not ask any form of remuneration or make unjust demands using superior status.
  3. Do not trade with company with the history of illegal activities including tax evasion, accounting fraud and/or environmental pollution, etc.

Conflict of interest

※ Do not engage in actions that are not just with the interested party in relations to the works.

  1. Do not engage in monetary transactions including lending or borrowing money, provide or receive entertainment, and make request whether they are direct or indirect to and from the interested party in relations to the works.
  2. Accepting any form of money and valuables with the exception of usual level of gifts or presents is strictly prohibited.
  3. Notifying family events for congratulations and condolences to the interested party is strictly prohibited.
  4. Offering money for family events for congratulations and condolences is recommended within the limit of 50,000 Won, which is the usual level given the customary social practices in Korea, and not to exceed 100,000 Won even for special occasions in accordance with the intent of mutual assistance.

Protection of the assets of the company

※ Do not use the assets or information of the company for personal purposes.

  1. Acquisition of unjust profits by personally using the confidential business information and internal confidential information is prohibited.
  2. Do not use the internal information, data, facilities, equipment and installations of the company for purposes that are irrelevant to the works.

Sharing and protecting information

※ Exhaustively manage internal information and share useful information of the company.

  1. Exhaustively protect information determined to be important.
  2. Business information that could be helpful to the company must be reported immediately and coped with appropriately.
  3. Do not distort information or distribute false information.
  4. Use of information for purposes other than those stipulated is prohibited.

Attitude of the staffs and executives

※ Establish organizational culture of mutual trust and respect

  1. Individuals shall put in utmost efforts in order to become the best expert through ceaseless self-development with the pride as a professional for the tasks given to them.
  2. Establish the organizational culture of mutual cooperation by sharing information and through discussions with fellow workers and between the departments.
  3. Protect the honor and dignity of oneself by exercising courteous behavior and etiquette in daily life, and respect the personality and rights of the subordinate staffs.
  4. Reject excessive drinking or empty formalities and vanity, and conduct in tidy manner with equally sound attitude.

Health social life

※ Comply with the regulations and uphold the honor as a member of Hyundai Sungwoo Holdings.

  1. Do not engage in actions that infringes the goals and benefits of the company or tarnish the honor of the company in pursuing sales and personal activities.
  2. Do not engage in political activities within the company and make donation or engage in activities for a particular individual or political party.
  3. Staffs and executives shall make contributions towards the social progress by guaranteeing and recommending healthy social activities.

Comply with ethical standards

※ Settle in the corporate culture of complying with the ethical standards.

  1. All the staffs and executives of Hyundai Sungwoo Holdings shall sincerely comply with the ethical standards as the basis of their actions and determination of values.
  2. In the event of having realized that the actions of oneself or others have infringed ethical standards, such must be notified to the audit team.
  3. The company must protect the individual who reported such fact and must not subject such individual to any undue disadvantages.
  4. It is possible to set separate standards for the efficient operation of the ethical standards.
